Victims of Slenderman
Even if Slenderman is the main concentration of this site, the effects he has on his victims are equally as important as anything else. Below are a list of some of the ways Slender may pursue his victims, affect them, or if they are a victimized proxy.
-Fates of the victims remain largely unknown to be specific.
-Victims tend to be juvenile, or children
-There are numerous theories on how Slenderman deals with his victims.
- One fate describes he will impale you with his fingers, stabbing your vital organs
- Another fate describes him removing your vital organs
-Another fate describes him taking your organs, and hanging them in plastic bags
- Another fate describes him taking your organs and tying them in a stretchy, long, thin knots.
-Another fate describes him eating you
-Victims are known to be stalked by the Slenderman/ be haunted by him
-Victims of the Slenderman acquire a certain sickness that includes paranoia, insomnia, dizziness, and amnesia.
-Victims driven insane (or possibly just victims), can supposedly be taken under his control to become a minion of sorts. Or a more proper term, they could be named “Proxies”.
-Much younger victims may believe that Slenderman is friendly in their naive stage, only to realize later he is haunting them.
-Also adding to the illnesses found in victims, they seem to undergo extreme coughing fits.
-While the Slenderman does appear to have a preference over younger victims, he is not limited to them, and may haunt slightly older targets.
-His apparent preference for victims as based on multiple sources is 16 years old and younger, but once again this is not limited.
-Other stories suggest he will target anyone who has the misfortune of seeing him.
-Victims may be captured by his tentacles.
-Victims can be induced with a hypnosis in which they are made to do what the Slenderman wants them to do (often being ensnared)
-An intense interest in the Slenderman will invoke him to haunt/stalk you.
- The bodies of victims or traces are never found, making their fate unknown.
-Some say that Slenderman takes victims to another dimension
- It is highly depicted among sources that Slender targets children, and some say he kidnaps them.
-Adding to the sickness Slender induces, some of these symptoms may include nosebleeds, hallucinations, and nightmares.
-Some victims may have been hikers as some stories depict
-Adding to the sickness he induces, some claim that internal bleeding may occur
-Victims may be relocated a lot
- List of victims may include these: Children, people who had encountered the Slenderman in childhood (who are now older), people who obsess over him or know a lot about him, and people who happen to see him (often by stupid ventures into the woods). But truth be told, because of the whole “see him and he’ll haunt you”, Slender could potentially haunt anyone.
-More to slender sickness, victims may contract a fever
-Victims who have contact with the Slenderman are said to black out (and this is often when relocation occurs)
